Story Jar Competition

Since we love reading at Holyoakes Field First School, we decided to run an exciting 'story jar' competition for World Book Day to showcase our favourite books.

Children were invited to think about how their favourite storybook could be represented in a jar, for example, by using certain items, quotes or clues about the story.

They all looked fantastic!

The winners will be chosen anonymously and will be awarded a book in assembly. Winners will be announced in the next newsletter.

However, everyone who added to our beautiful story jar collection is a winner as everyone we speak to has a personal favourite!

KS1: Albert - The Very Hungry Caterpillar (Elm Class)

KS2: Darcie - Harry Potter (Maple)
