How to use a numberline
Example 1
Read the addition sum you are going to be answering. Circle the biggest number so you know where you will start on the numberline.
Draw the jumps, so if you're adding on 4 you will do 4 jumps. Remember not to count the number you start on.
Circle the number you land on, this is the total.
Example 2
