How to use a numberline to subtract

Read the subtraction calculation. 
Circle the number you are going to be starting on the numberline.
Jump backwards to take away. So if you are taking away 5 you will make 5 jumps on the numberline. Remember not to count the number you started on. 
Circle the number you land on, this is your answer.
