Day 7 Sunday
The chicks have grown bigger and stronger and are much more active. They have been scratching and jumping around their brooder box. You can see where some of the feathers have started to grow through on the chicks wings.
The chicks have all put on some grams in weight.

Next week, the children will be able to see and hold the chicks. When holding the chick, it is best if the chick stands on one hand whilst the other gently cups over the chicks back. It is best if hands are kept close to floor and if the chick is able to jump down to the floor if they wish to.
