For our Science week, we have been exploring how different animals needs different amounts of nutrition, types of skeletons and human bones and muscles. We have had lots of fun putting skeletons together and learning new terminology. See if you can test us on the following words:
Take a look at our skeletons we created using art straws and cotton buds!
After learning about the bones, we though about the functions of the skeletons and why animals and humans need a skeleton. We thought about protection, support and movement. Then, we used our life size model to help us find the different joints and see how they work!
What super scientists we have become!
We have had a great time in forest school creating our own human skeletons from natural materials.
