The nursery team consists of Mrs Porter, Miss McMulkin, Mrs Jones, and Mrs Ellis.
Here in Holyoakes Field Nursery we provide many opportunities for the children to learn through their imaginative and creative independent play in our caring and stimulating inside and outside environments. We encourage the children to have fun and to play together
co-operatively, in a friendly way. The children also take part in playful, fun activities planned by the teacher using the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. These carefully thought out activities and experiences increase the children's independence, thinking and communication skills.
" They make good progress in the nursery and reception classes because adults provide plenty of interesting and engaging opportunities to develop their basic skills". (Ofsted 2013)
During their time with us the children in nursery do many different types of activities. We cook sweet and savoury food, sing and dance, read stories together, make things out of playdough, paint and draw, play on the computer and Ipads, ride on bikes and in cars in the gardens, play with water, do PE and go to Forest School to name but a few!
We hope that you enjoy looking through the nursery photographs. If you are interested in a place for your child in our nursery then please contact the school. We welcome visits from parents and carers.
